And....Action! Stage Combat & Improv for Teens Ages 13-18 is BACK!
This 4-hour workshop will focus on hand-to-hand combat, improvisation, storytelling, and more!
Students will learn technical skills, create a fun, high-octane showcase of what they’ve learned, and share their short performance with an invited audience of
friends and family at the end of the day.
About the instructors:

Orion Bradshaw is a professional Storyteller, Licensed Teacher, Equity Facilitator, Social Justice Advocate, and proud multi-union member. Having spent 6 seasons as an Actor and Teacher at the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Orion relocated to his beloved Portland in 2011 to co-found Post5 Theatre; he then earned his Master of Arts in Teaching degree from his alma mater, Southern Oregon University, in 2019. Orion has been a professional Theatre Artist and Teacher for over 17 years, currently serving as a licensed Substitute Teacher and Teaching Artist for various Portland area schools, as well as a Facilitator with Matthew Reynolds Consulting, and local freelance Artist. In addition to Stage Combat, Orion's has taught numerous workshops on Shakespeare Studies & Performance, Theatre Movement (Viewpoints, Laban, Clown, etc.), Hip-Hop Dance, Playwriting, Poetry writing, Improv, and much more!May our Learning never cease!

Phillip Berns has 25+ years experience in theatre. He has appeared with numerous Portland theatre companies, including Milagro, Theatre Vertigo, and Bag&Baggage. He was a founding Company Member of Post5 Theatre as well as an Associate Artist with Bag & Baggage Productions. Favorite credits include Jack in Leading Ladies (Lakewood Theater), Alan in Equus (Post5 Theatre), and his recurring one-man Christmas Carol.
