and experience commercial direction

the way it actually happens.

You’ve trained. You’ve auditioned. Maybe you’ve booked.
Now it’s time to work the way real commercial jobs actually happen.

Join ad agency creative director Danny Palmer (Nike, Google, Ford, Alaska Airlines) live and in person at The Sound Stage for a rare, behind-the-scenes commercial voice over workshop - with Jessica Geffen in the booth helping you execute at a professional level.

This class is designed for voice actors at any stage who want:

  • Clearer direction

  • Stronger audition choices

  • A better understanding of what clients are actually listening for

You’ll work with a real commercial script, receive live client-style direction, and leave with a clean, professionally edited take you can reference in future auditions.

What You’ll Get

  • A real-world commercial script and brief

  • Live direction from an ad agency creative director

  • Hands-on support behind the mic

  • One fully edited final take for your records

  • Insight into how creative directors think, listen, and choose talent

How the Session Works

Each actor receives focused time in the booth with Danny and Jessica:

  • Round 1 - Explore tone, POV, and intention

  • Round 2 - Execute final takes as Danny makes client-style selections

This is not about “perfect reads.”
It’s about making smart, bookable choices under direction.
