About Doug Sellers
Doug Sellers brings over 45 years of experience as a professional actor, director, and playwright. A seasoned performer and storyteller, Doug has worked extensively across stage, screen, and studio, mentoring hundreds of performers throughout his career.
Most recently, Doug received rave reviews for his powerful performance in I’m Gonna Pray for You So Hard at Twilight Theater Company in Portland, OR. He also starred in the award-winning short film Almost Boston, currently circulating on the national film festival circuit.
Doug trained locally with Kristina Haddad at The Actor’s Lab in Portland and brings a grounded, intuitive, and practical approach to teaching—guiding actors toward honest, emotionally connected performances that resonate.
Doug works full-time as a writer, actor, director, filmmaker, and voice actor, and is represented by Actors in Action.
